Carson: "Dipths!" = grapes, "EYE-ggths!" = eggs. He keeps coming to me holding his bottom saying "poo-poo," and when I check there's nothing. I think he thinks that when he toots it's poo-poo.

Brady: Likes to sing the tune from Elmo's World (la-la-la-la - he sings it on key), and repeats almost everything that I say. Especially "Buh boy!" = good boy! He tells on Carson if Carson tries to bite him - "Bite, momma, bite!"

a very Brady morning

This morning Brady woke up WAY grump-nugget. After a little while I was holding him and I said "Oh, Brady, are you just feeling kind of tender and needy-licious?" and he answered (pathetically) "Yeh, Ma'am."

New stuff

First sentences:
Brady - "I yuh you!"
Carson - "appa-juice PEASE!"

Emmie (the other day after Brady pulled her hair) "OH! He pulled my lovely hair!"

Carson & Brady both say: boot, on, out, up, down, baby, num-num, shoe, hat, Emmie, Lolo (Logan), Wiwee (Riley), and na-na (banana).

They tackle each other a lot. They like to hug, but that usually turns into a fight when one wants to hug and the other doesn't. Carson likes to bring Brady his pacifier and a blanket when Brady is upset - it's very sweet. He also likes to take Brady's pacifier and watch him get upset. Not so sweet, but funny to watch.

Jeff has begun to read Paradise Lost at dinner (in honor of Milton's 400th B-day) and this was tonight's (very typical) reading. He perseveres.

Today was Em's 5th birthday - she wore this tutu all day (is still in it) and loved the new rainboots

Emmie in the clown suit my mom made when my brother was little - she is a born actor

Tired buddies - Carson brought Brady his blanket and said "BABY!" which is what he calls him. I usually put Carson's words in caps because he yells.

Carson dove into his Red Velvet cupcake. I know - nice choice for the babies faces.

Brady was pretty careful with his cupcake (unlike his bro)

Carson and Brady loved the candles...and the cupcakes.

We lit candles twice - once in a donut at breakfast, then once in her cupcake. "Aren'tcha gonna sing to me?" she kept asking.

Em's 5. She loved being the princess of the day.

he says "Boot! On!" then runs to the door - "OUT! OUT!"

Except for the boots, she has worn this the entire day.
